Mi historia como guía comienza 7 años atras en la bella bahia de akumal haciendo tours de snorkel, de ahí empezo el gusto y necesidad de concientizar a los visitantes a resperar la naturaleza y conservar nuestro patrimonio. Como guía federal arqueológico, desde hace 4 años, he colaborado en diferentes empresas de tours en la riviera maya. Te aseguro no te vas a arrepentir, la pasión por mostrar la verdadera esencia del lugar es lo que me caracteriza. This was our second year in a row visiting Cancun and touring with Fernando. I cannot say enough good things about him and the tour. Fernando is fun and so knowledgeable about the history in Mexico and we enjoyed our time so much. He picked us up early and brought us to the ruins right as the opened so we beat the crowds, he toured us around the ruins and then gave us free time to explore ourselves before going to swim and explore a beautiful cenote. We finished the day with some shopping and lunch at a beautiful authentic Mexican restaurant in Valladolid. The day was absolutely perfect with a lot of laughs and Fernando took beautiful pictures for us which he sent us all the same day and was included in the cost of the tour. We can’t wait to return again and book another tour with our friend! I absolutely recommend you book a tour with Carey Tours!

I have traveled the world and Fernando our tour guide was simply amazing. So well-spoken, so knowledgeable and incredibly kind and accommodating. He knew how to avoid the crowds and really have a private and authentic experience. I would recommend Carey Tours for ANY tour you want to do in Mexico. Spent a day with Fernando who put together a custom trip for my family of 3 kids to visit Tulum and go snorkeling off the reef. Can’t say enough good things. Great communicator & friendly to everyone (all the other tour guides seem to know him). Tulum is very hot and crowded, and he recognized that kids have limited energy/attention span and so kept it interesting and moving quickly. Very quick transition to the boat for snorkeling. He didn’t make any promises but he found us some sea turtles. The highlight of our vacation! Took us to a very nice place for lunch and a beer included in price. Best of all, Fernando send us some beautiful family photos, including in the water later that evening. Highly recommended.

First of all, Fernando, our tour guide, went above and beyond. We have taken many tours all over the world, and he is top-notch. From the moment we booked the tour, he was very responsive. As we are vegans, he went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing vegan meal for lunch!! We had to reschedule the tour as one of us had a cold, and he accommodated us with no issue. He was extremely knowledgable of the Mayan Ruins in Tulum and knew exactly where to go for snorkeling. Everything was set up for us. He even took us to see a cenote as we had not yet seen one!! This was definitely one of, if not, the best tour we have ever taken! Fernando was wonderful, and the tour itself was incredible. I cannot recommend him enough!!
