About me

100% local guide and traveler born in Playa del Carmen. I have noticed the growing interest in history and local traditions and I am a proud representative of my culture. I like to share experiences and knowledge of the best topics in the Riviera Maya. Let me show you everything! I offer my services as a personalized guide, for all ages, national and international tourism, as well as assistance and guidance on the local cultural heritage and the activities that surround them (cenotes, national parks, reserves, archaeological sites, fishing, snorkel) ... contact me!

Guide experience

My history as a guide starts 7 years ago in the beautiful bay of Akumal doing snorkeling tours, from there began the taste and need to raise awareness among visitors to recover nature and preserve our heritage. As a federal archaeological guide, for the past 4 years, I have collaborated in different tours companies in the Mayan Riviera. I assure you, you will not regret it, the passion to show the true essence of the place is what characterizes me. Since childhood I have explored different places, this knowledge makes the visit special, I try to visit places away from mass tourism. Do not miss it, contact me!

Muyil + Sian Kaan Channels starstarstarstarstar

Unique experience. We had a boat trip on Sian-Ka'an water really private. Just us, Fernando and the captain of the boat. We sailed through two canals on the Sian Ka'an river, one made by men and one natural one. The natural one we did without the boat. Just us floating quietly through the water. No other soul. Us and the peaceful nature. Wonderful experience. Many thanks to Fernando to make this happen.

Chichen-itza & Cenote starstarstarstarstar

Fernando was our fantastic and knowledgeable guide during a private tour of Chichen Itza and Cenote Saamal. He was very personal and friendly and made our day in the extreme heat as pleasant as possible. Chichen Itza is an incredible experience if you like history and culture. We had a wonderful day of exploration and adventure. The swim in the Cenote Saamal was magical and very refreshing. The lunch buffet after the swim was muy delicioso and the service was attentive and friendly. There was a final visit to Valladolid, where you explored the streets, local merchants, and Cenote Zaci! Highly recommended!

Chichen-itza & Cenote starstarstarstarstar

Fernando gave us a perfect tour of Chichen Itza, Valladolid, and a local cenote. He was friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable, giving us information about the place we were about to visit then telling us lots of information when we got there. He gave us lots of options on places to stop while we were out (I craved tepache since my last trip to Mexico 9 years ago, so he remembered that I had mentioned that, then stopped for us to get some) and gave us plenty of free time to shop, etc while we were out - plus the place he stopped for lunch was fantastic. We truly had a great time. I would highly recommend using his services!

Chichen-itza & Cenote starstarstarstarstar

My two teenage sons and I enjoyed a fantastic day with Fernando, who is friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Quintana Roo and the Yucatan. He knew the right time to get to Chichen Itza to avoid the crowds (early) and showed us parts of the site that many of the other tours skip. He took us through Valladolid and brought us to a charming local museum dedicated to the history of the city. We ended the day at a spectacular family-run Cenote far from the tour bus crowds. Fernando obviously cares very deeply about the people, history, and culture of this region of Mexico. It was a real pleasure to learn about it from him.
