Environmentalist tour in Akumal (afternoon) starstarstarstarstar

Environmentalist tour in Akumal (in the morning) starstarstarstarstar

We Loved it! Antonio has an awesome project set up where they help reproduce, rehabilitate and reincorporate animals back into the wild. They are very respectful of the animals, nature and their natural processes, and it’s really awesome that people like Antonio and his hardworking team are pursuing something like this. Very admirable and a true demonstration of pure love for mother nature. Both Antonio and our guide Alex are very knowledgable and interesting. We couldn’t stop asking questions! And they were happy to answer :) Because of this tour, I have a new respect and fascination for bees! At the end of the tour, we bathed in one of the 3 cenotes within the property...Can’t beat fresh water and a beautiful site! It was all so interesting and fun that time flew and we wished we had more time! We will definitely be visiting again! They also have a pretty cool Glamping area where you can live the jungle experience, while all profits go directly to funding the sanctuary. We highly recommend this tour! And the best part is your fee will help fund the sanctuary and keep it running :)
