About me

Hello, I am an enthusiastic tourist guide, owner of a small business of receptive tourism in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the most Mexican city of all I believe. I am the father of two little girls and with 12 years of marriage. We love rural life and I enjoy giving tours in Tequila and charrería in Guadalajara. I come from a charro's family from a town near Guadalajara called Cuquio where every weekend I will go ride with my dad.

Guide experience

Certified by SECTUR since 2007, guide instructor equestrian certified by Horsemanship Association since 2011, creator and owner of Andares de Mexico since 2004. I have been part of Charros de Jalisco for more than 30 years and this association is the oldest in Mexico. We have recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Thanks to Jesus for helping us get the most out of our trip to Guadalajara! He was prompt and very knowledgeable about the culture and history of the area. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed his company and he provided fantastic recommendations for other things to do. We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to book with Jesus. I highly recommend his tour services and look forward to seeing him again next time we return to GDL.

Charros Experience starstarstarstarstar

The Charreria Tour was a great experience. Jesus was both an excellent guide and a Jalisco charro. Great emphasis was placed on the charro code and the importance of the Charrería in the local community, in cultural tradition, & in Mexican history. The horsemanship and teamwork were excellent.

Jesus was simply awesome... He was there to pick us up from the Guadalajara airport. He is very knowledgeable and for my family, he was so helpful as we could not understand Spanish. Jesus is excellent in English and he also helped us to find good eating places and also to change our currency. He was so helpful and we really enjoyed his tour. Our trip was shot because we were on a 7-hour layover in Guadalajara in-route to Cancun. We will definitely come back for a longer trip. Thanks, Jesus for your great hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Guadalajara
