Description

I am a native of this beautiful Magic Town: Papantla, Veracruz. The city with five stars: 3 intangible heritage of humanity, one denomination of origin and a denomination as a magical town. I speak two languages: Spanish and English and I have notions of Papantla's Tutunaku. I do walking tours through the historic center and throughout the city, I have access to the CAI (Center for Indigenous Arts) where you can enjoy the activities of any of the 16 school-houses that are world heritage, I also do Vanilla experiences of the region where I explain the benefits of this beautiful pod. I dedicate myself primarily to the cultural tourism of this region but I have contacts with the other agencies and people in charge of adventure tourism, as I am a member of the magical town citizen committee. I do not have my own car, so transportation will be quote it separately, or the client has it.

Experience

I have 6 years of experience as a guide in Papantla, I can handle trips from couples to groups of 100 people, for which two more people support me. My two assistants are characterized by Staku Luhua and Xpusinaniin (Quetzancoatl and Mictlantecuhtli).

About this experience

Tour of the historic center of the beautiful magical town of Papantla de Olarte, Veracruz. A picturesque place full of living culture, magic and tradition. This tour has a minimum duration of 1:30 hours and can be extended up to 4 hours depending on the needs of the tourist, in this tour we are getting to know the history of the town of Papantla as well as better understanding its Totonac culture and its worldview when visiting the central park and its kiosk, the mural "Tribute to the Totonac culture" (one of the longest in the state), the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, the murals that adorn the central square and the main places of the center Historical, the Teodoro Cano museum, the viewpoint of the "Monument to the Flying", and we can appreciate the dance of the flying (one of the 3 patrimonies of humanity that Papantla has). For this tour you need to stay well hydrated, wear sunscreen and hat or cap or umbrella, cotton clothes or sweat-absorbing, preferably wear light colors when dressing because the city climate is warm-humid and its average temperature is 30 degrees Celsius. The central park is the navel of the social life of Papantla so there are different activities depending on the day of your visit: Tuesday of the word, Friday of Danzón, popular Saturday, family Sunday among others.
