About this experience

It is impossible not to visit the archeological center of the Guachimontones on the route of tequila, tradition, history, much fun and above all mysticism that is palpable in each rock and building on this site after more than 2000 years. We visit “Phil Weigand” site museum where we can appreciate the history of the site. In the area of the Museum we observe the mural of Jorge Monroy, as well as various pieces, models and explanatory maps of the place; 500 meters from the Museum are the main structures of the archeological zone, such as tombs, ball games and the famous circular buildings of this culture that paid tribute to the Wind God. Then we went to Ex-Hacienda la Labor de Rivera, an old and beautiful 17th-century hacienda that has been transformed into a luxurious boutique hotel. When passing through the portal, stately trees point the way around a pond to reach the Casa Grande. The colonial mansion has been equipped to offer the comfort and amenities of the 21st century, a gourmet restaurant, holistic therapies, and outdoor activities.
