About this experience

Day 1 - Nahá Ecotourism Center (Water House) Departure is at 8:00 am at the reception of your Hotel in Ocosingo, Chiapas. We will move to the Naha Ecotourism Center, where we will perform the interpretive trekking in the company of an expert Lacandon guide who will explain the importance of the conservation of the flora and fauna of our environment. Upon reaching Lake Nahá we will enjoy a boat ride, observing the nature that surrounds the site and the aquatic plants; It is likely that we will be able to observe some water and land birds during the tour, estimated time of 3 hours, at the end we will go to eat (included) with a time of 1 hour, after the meal we will move to the ecological cabins of Metzabok to check-in with the rest of the afternoon free. Day 2 - Metzabok Ecotourism Center Breakfast (not included) at 8:00 am and departure at 9:00 am, we will move to Metzabok Lagoon, where we will visit magical places of the Metzabok jungle in the Mayan language means “Thunder-Making God”, it is located between Eastern mountains of the state of Chiapas, in the Lacandon Jungle. During the tour, we are accompanied by a specialized Lacandon guide, and through a canoe, we move to visit its assets that this extraordinary place hides. First, we will visit Lake Tzibana, a cave where we will observe a rock painting plastered on a stone at the edge of the lagoon, then we will visit archaeological areas covered by the jungle. Finally, we will move to the Mirador where you can see all the splendor of the lagoon and the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. This tour lasts 4 hours. In the end, we moved back to your hotel in Ocosingo.
