About this experience

Poised in the Palace miner Juan Jose Zambrano and consummate after Independence became the seat of state government and residence of the governors. ?. Gen. Francisco Villa Museum, aims to re-interpret the character, its context from the written and unwritten memoirs; and rescue the art, literature, science and philosophy, creating a new experiential and experimental space, in order to make known the life of a native people of our state, which we perceive as the undisputed hero of the revolutionary epic. The museum currently is on the list of historical monuments of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and created with the aim of preserving and disseminating the archaeological heritage of Durango and the region formed by the states of Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco . It has a reading room called seven permanent galleries: The physical environment groups Paleoindio and Archaic, Groups Loma San Gabriel, chalchihuites Culture and Guadiana, Culture Aztatlán, rock art and archaeological method
